Mariah Carey Married!
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon married each other in a private ceremony, Latina.com confirms exclusively.
The ceremony, which was held at Carey’s home in the Bahamas, was attended by very few people including Carey’s best friend rapper Da Brat.
“They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks…and she’s always had a crush on him,” a source tells the New York Post.
Last Saturday, Carey was seen sporting a huge diamond ring on her finger at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her movie, “Tennessee,” in which she plays a waitress. Nick was by her side, which led to huge speculation about them being engaged.
People magazine’s Web site reported Friday that Carey had obtained a marriage license in the island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas, where she has an estate.
Well, if you’re still wondering about the guy, Nick Cannon is a rapper and recently participated in a will.i.am-produced music video for Barack Obama entitled “Yes We Can.”
